Neil deGrasse Tyson: Forever Flawless

I’m a huge fan of astronomy and science fiction, so when I saw this, I just knew I had to share. Watch as deGrasse Tyson discusses his favorite sci-fi shows and movies on his radio show, and goes into detail about what each entailed for the future and how they left an impact within history. Then, proceed to go view these shows and movies, because he’s 100% right.

Now, I’ve loved Neil deGrasse Tyson since I was pretty young — He used to appear in quite a few documentaries on the Science Channel, you know the ones that they’d air sometimes that weren’t part of any series. But he blew up recently after the whole “Watch out, we got a badass” meme, and subsequently his affiliation with Jon Stewart‘s Daily Show. Since then, he’s made numerous television appearances, radio appearances, youtube appearances, etc. He’s pretty much the epitome of awesome: Fiercely intelligent, and absolutely hilarious. With his own radio show called StarTalk, and an upcoming remake of the classic Carl Sagan series, Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, deGrasse Tyson has left no stone unturned in trying to educate the world the importance of astronomy, physics, and mathematics.
